Supersight Delivers Real-Time Occupancy Reporting to Tampere Sports & Expo

Supersight Oy has been selected to provide real-time occupancy reporting for Tampere Sports & Expo Ltd, operator of one of Finland’s largest exhibition and event complexes.

Tampere Sports & Expo comprises five halls with a combined floor area of 31,500 square metres and a maximum capacity of 19,200 people. Due to the large number of entry points across the facility, accurately estimating total visitor numbers has traditionally been challenging—particularly during major exhibitions, sports events, and public gatherings.

Supersight’s edge AI–based occupancy reporting solution addresses this challenge by providing precise, real-time insights into visitor flows and hall-level occupancy, even in complex multi-door environments. The system enables the venue operator to better understand how spaces are used, improve safety and capacity management, and optimise operational planning for both everyday activities and large-scale events.
